Been here a few times. Down graded from the full Sunday roast to the small, as there is plenty. Very dog friendly, lovely staff and a great fire.

I met family for lunch here today. Situated on Main Street, this pub has a rear car park and limited parking at the front. There was a large party in a room further in the building, but our table of 6 was situated nearer the bar, but there was still plenty of room. The meals took quite a while to come out, but they were well worth waiting for. Huge tasty portions. The puddings were equally as good. The prices are fairly high but well worth it for the amount you got, taste and presentation. The staff were all helpful and polite. I will definitely be back in the future.

I recently visited The Nags Head, and it was a lovely experience overall. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous – definitely great value for money. Whether you're after a hearty meal or just a quick bite, the menu has a nice range of options that are well-prepared and satisfying. One of the standout features of this place is that it’s dog-friendly, which is a huge plus if you're looking to bring along your four-legged friend. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for both casual dining and a comfortable visit with pets. I’ll definitely be returning!

Tried here tonight just up road from our camp site, beautiful place nice welcome when we arrived, superb menu with plenty of specials good sized portions and well tasty. Mussels and Pate to start followed by cumbernauld sausage and caramelised onion gravy mash, and a perfectly cooked set ribs, well worth a visit if ur in Area.
